The Weenum Dummy Floating Calf Teat is a cleverly designed feeding aid developed to support young calves during the early stages of feeding. Supplied with a floating base and teat, this product is specially crafted to make bucket feeding more natural and instinctive for the calf.
The floating base is engineered to keep the teat facing downward at all times, encouraging the calf to search for and latch onto the teat from the side—closely mimicking the natural suckling position. This promotes a calmer, more satisfying feeding experience while also helping to develop proper feeding behaviour.
Made from durable, calf-safe materials, the floating base contains no internal balancing elements, which means it naturally shifts with movement while always keeping the teat in the ideal orientation. It’s particularly effective in individual buckets or group housing pens, offering flexibility across various calf-rearing setups.
With a diameter of 75 mm and height of 130 mm, the compact design fits easily into standard feeding buckets. The unit is extremely practical, featuring a simple structure that is quick to dismantle for easy and thorough cleaning—an essential feature for maintaining hygiene and calf health.
