The Trusti Colostrum Bag for Lambs and Kids (50 Bags) is a practical, efficient solution for storing, pasteurising, thawing, and feeding colostrum to lambs and kid goats. With a 1-litre capacity, these bags are ideal for managing multiple feeds, supporting good colostrum management during the critical early hours of life.

Designed for convenience, the bags are easy to store in the freezer for up to 12 months or in the fridge for up to 3 days, helping farms build a reliable colostrum supply. The slim profile allows efficient use of freezer space, making them particularly useful during busy lambing and kidding periods.

Each bag features a transparent side, allowing you to clearly see the colostrum inside and monitor feed levels during feeding. This visibility helps ensure accurate feeding and reduces waste.

The bags are pasteurisation friendly and can fit up to eight bags in the Trusti Pasteur, supporting hygienic colostrum handling while preserving valuable antibodies. For feeding, the bags allow rapid thawing in warm water, which is much faster than using bottles. Importantly, avoiding temperatures above 60°C and microwaves helps protect the crucial antibodies within the colostrum.

An additional benefit is the option to attach a lamb or kid teat (ANT44T) directly to the bag, allowing simple, direct feeding without transferring colostrum into another container.
