Shoof calf leg splint
Front – Yellow,
Hind – Green.
When a calf is born with contracted flexor tendon, the fetlock joint is caused to knuckle under pressure, causing serious limitation to the mobility of the calf.
The calf splint is applied to the back of the leg, with the splint bottom edge at ground level.
The calf should have normal mobility immediately.
Remove after 4-5 days.
