The Scruffs Thermal Box Dog Bed is a premium self-heating pet bed designed to keep dogs warm, comfortable, and well supported during colder conditions. It is an ideal choice for winter use, draughty homes, kennels, or any pet that enjoys extra warmth and comfort.
Each bed features a self-heating thermal layer made from foam backed with reflective foil. This layer reflects your dog’s natural body heat back towards them, helping to retain warmth without the need for electricity. The thermal layer is sandwiched between quilted polyester fibres and the main bed fill, maximising heat retention while remaining breathable.
Above this, quilted hollow fibres sit beneath a super-soft fleece cover, holding warm air around your pet to provide additional insulation and comfort. The box bed design uses a one-piece construction, offering greater durability and all-round support, particularly useful for dogs that like to curl up or rest their head on raised sides.
The bed is filled with 100% recycled green-fibre fill, delivering excellent cushioning, resilience, and insulation. This makes the Scruffs Thermal Box Dog Bed especially suitable for older dogs, pets with arthritis, young or recovering animals, or any dog that benefits from added warmth.
Practical features include a non-slip base and fully machine-washable design. Wash the entire bed at 30°C on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
