Designed for dairies requiring compact capacity without compromising on automation or hygiene, the MP Vertitank Closed – 500–3000L combines the vertical footprint advantages of MP Vertitanks with the advanced functionality of MP Powertanks. A sealed manhole access replaces the traditional lid, while the front-mounted MPP Standard cooling and washing control system provides full control of cooling, agitation, and five-stage CIP washing and disinfection.
Compact Vertical Design with Full CIP Control
The MP Vertitank Closed – 500–3000L is engineered to retain all the benefits of a full Clean-In-Place (CIP) system within a low-capacity vertical tank. The integrated MPP Standard control system manages cooling and stirring while delivering a complete five-program wash cycle, ensuring consistent hygiene with minimal operator involvement.
Where required, the tank can also be supplied with an automatic washer, providing additional flexibility for farms looking to further automate their cleaning process.

Flexible Cooling Unit Options
Cooling units are available in 2- or 4-milking configurations, suitable for normal, tropical, and supertropical ambient conditions. Compressor options include Tecumseh, Maneurop, Copeland, or Embraco, sourced from European or US manufacturers to match individual farm requirements.
All cooling systems operate with environmentally friendly R404A refrigerant and are equipped with solenoid valves, independent high- and low-pressure switches, secondary fan pressure control, and check valves for enhanced reliability.
Efficient Insulation & Advanced Evaporator Design
High-density polyurethane insulation provides excellent thermal performance, with 45mm thickness around the tank perimeter and 90mm at the base to minimise heat gain.
A laser-welded direct expansion evaporator with a sloped base ensures efficient cooling, complete drainage, and compliance with ISO 5708 standards.
Practical Construction & Daily Usability
A stainless-steel perforated protective cover shields the cooling unit from dirt and small animals while allowing easy access for maintenance. The patented enclosed base design supports airflow and durability.
Milk outlets are available in DN50, SMS51, or Triclamp configurations, all fitted with stainless-steel butterfly valves.
Milk agitation is provided by Sirem motors running at 30 rpm to prevent foaming, with an integrated gravity switch that automatically stops agitation when the manhole is opened. Adjustable support legs allow precise levelling on uneven floors for accurate milk measurement.
