The Fullwood Packo Ice Builder PIB 8–13 (Complete with Compressors) is a high-efficiency ice bank cooling system designed to deliver powerful, consistent milk pre-cooling while maximising energy savings. Available in two models, PIB 8 and PIB 13, this system is ideal for dairy farms seeking reliable cooling with reduced running costs.
Constructed entirely from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel and insulated with polyurethane foam, the tank offers excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and thermal efficiency. A generously sized evaporator enables the storage of a large ice reserve, ensuring maximum cold transfer during peak milking. The evaporator uses seamless copper tubes mounted in a stainless steel frame, providing long service life and dependable performance.
The Fullwood Packo Ice Builder PIB 8–13 (Complete with Compressors) operates by accumulating energy during off-peak electricity periods, such as night rate or alternative sources like solar power. An ice thickness probe activates the eco-cool unit to build an even ice layer, cooling the water to 0.5°C. Ice water is then pumped to the bulk tank or pre-cooler, with returning warm water melting the ice for continuous operation.
