The Feed Ball Toy is a simple and effective enrichment solution designed to improve animal welfare, reduce boredom, and encourage natural foraging behaviour in housed livestock systems. By promoting interaction and activity, it helps create a calmer and more balanced environment.
The Feed Ball Toy features 19 feed openings, allowing hay or forage to be dispensed gradually as the animal interacts with the ball. This encourages natural feeding behaviour, keeping animals engaged while helping reduce issues such as boredom and unwanted behaviours.
With a capacity of up to 3 kg of hay, the ball is filled via a 116 mm screw-cap opening, making it quick and easy to refill. It can be used on the ground or hung on a cable or chain for added movement and interaction. For safe and controlled use, hanging with a suitable attachment such as a belt is recommended.
Manufactured from durable, UV-resistant plastic, the Feed Ball Toy is designed for use in stables, paddocks, or pasture environments. Its robust construction ensures long-lasting performance in daily farm conditions.
