In natural environments, cows instinctively rub against surfaces such as trees and posts to scratch and groom. The Cosy Cow Rotating Cattle Brush replicates this behaviour in housed systems, helping reduce stress levels while promoting cleanliness and overall wellbeing.
The brush automatically activates when touched, allowing cows to groom safely whenever needed. It features a 24V low-energy motor with efficient performance, typically running up to 18 hours per day under normal use. For added safety, the brush will rotate in the opposite direction if a tail becomes entangled, protecting animals during operation.
Designed with a rocking movement and alternating rotation, the brush ensures full-body contact, stimulating blood circulation while removing dirt, parasites, loose hair, and skin debris. This contributes to improved hygiene, reduced risk of issues such as mastitis, and can support improved milk yield and fertility.
With a lightweight 45 kg modular design, the unit is easy to install and maintain, making it a practical addition to sheds, passageways, and housing systems. It is suitable for 50–60 cows, with exceeding numbers potentially affecting warranty.
