The Schaefer Barn Kooler Dairy Parlour Fan and Water Misting System is a high-performance cooling solution designed to significantly reduce heat stress in dairy parlours. Combining powerful airflow with fine water misting, this system helps improve cow comfort, milk yield, and overall herd welfare during warm conditions.
This 24″ dairy parlour fan is supplied as a complete unit and includes a mounting bracket, variable speed controller, and integrated water misting system, making installation straightforward and cost effective. The fan is fitted with powerful, well-balanced blades that minimise noise and vibration while delivering an impressive 14.5 cubic metres of airflow per hour, ensuring effective air movement across the parlour.
When combined with the misting system, the fan can aid cooling by up to 25°C, using evaporative cooling to lower the effective temperature around the cows. The misting system applies a fine, controlled spray that enhances cooling efficiency without soaking animals or surfaces.
Powered by a heavy-duty ball bearing motor, the unit operates on 230V AC from a standard 13-amp supply, offering reliability and ease of connection. The variable speed controller allows fan speed to be adjusted to suit conditions, with one controller capable of operating up to three fans, providing flexibility for larger installations.
