These clamps are measured using BSP inside diameter sizing, meaning they are matched to the nominal bore of galvanised tube rather than the outside diameter. Correct sizing is essential to ensure a secure fit and avoid movement or stress within the pipework. These clamps are intended for galvanised tubing only and are not suitable for stainless steel or non-BSP sized pipe.

Galvanised cross over tube clamps are commonly used where pipework needs to be safely supported, joined, or braced, helping maintain correct alignment and structural stability. In washdown, water, air, or dairy pipe systems, correctly secured pipework reduces the risk of vibration, wear, and joint failure over time.
