Each scratch-off patch is easy to apply and provides clear, visible signs of mounting activity—making it easier for farmers to identify cows in standing heat and breed at the optimal time.
These multi-use breeding indicators are a valuable addition to any herd management plan. In addition to heat detection, Estrotect patches can be used for cycle monitoring, pregnancy confirmation, and even identifying embryonic loss. Each pack contains 50 easy-to-use patches, which can be applied directly to the cow’s back. When mounting occurs, the top layer of the patch gradually scratches off, revealing the bright indicator colour underneath for a clear, visual cue.
Available in a range of colours—Red, Blue, Green, Fuchsia, and Yellow—these patches can also be colour-coded to suit your system or differentiate between breeding groups.
