Its large backlit display, combined with audible beeps and LED indicators, provides clear feedback during operation, ensuring reliable use in all lighting conditions.
Lightweight yet rugged, the SDL440S is built to withstand demanding farm environments while remaining comfortable to use throughout the day. Available in three lengths – short (45cm), medium (58cm), and long (80cm) – it provides flexibility to suit different handling setups and operator preferences.
The reader can store data for up to 16,000 animals and 26 management groups, making it suitable for both small farms and large-scale livestock enterprises. Bluetooth connectivity allows seamless transfer of data to computers or mobile devices via the Shearwell Hub apps, including MyFarmWorks, ShearweighPro, and EID Connect.
Compatible with both FDX-B and HDX RFID tags, as well as implants and rumen boluses, the SDL440S offers versatile identification capability across multiple livestock systems.
